St. Pius X expressed the desire for the Holy Face of Jesus to be venerated in the homes of all Christian families
“Whoever gazes upon me, already consoles Me” (Our Lord to Bl. Pierina)
The Holy Face of Jesus Home Program is a special time for families to develop a deeper relationship with our Lord. It’s also a time to come closer as a family. As the saying goes, “A family who prays together, stays together.”
The home visitation includes veneration of a traveling blessed image of the Holy Face of Jesus. A team of at least two people bring the image to a home. Holy Face medals and novenas are distributed. For a period of 9 days, the family joins in daily prayer for the Holy Face of Jesus Alpha and Omega Novena and a rosary.
At the end of the 9 days, the team returns for a final consecration of the home and family to the Holy Face of Jesus.
